The Announcement of the 2nd RD20 meeting

RD20 is a global conference focusing on clean energy technologies, and opportunities for international collaborations among leading institutes of G20 countries. In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, the 2nd RD20 will be held in two separate remote sessions: technical sessions (Sept 29th ~ Oct 2nd) focusing upon four specific themes, namely, renewable energy, next generation energy management system with batteries, hydrogen, and carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), and a leaders' session (Oct 9th) aimed at achieving high level consensus for global cooperation toward a decarbonized society. RD20 brings together national research institute leaders from G20 nations to combine diverse knowledge in accelerating discontinuous innovation in the field of clean energy technologies for massive reduction of CO2 emissions. The conference will be a platform to join forces towards creative innovation by strengthening alliances among research institutes of each country, and expanding joint international research and development.
